FOOD AND BEVERAGE

The new menu continues to grow in popularity amongst our members and patrons. The club also hosted the Easter Brunch on 18th March. There was a special kid’s zone with a Bouncy Castle, Face Painting and mini children’s buffet.

There are some exciting offers and promotions during sunset hours at the Terrace Bar. Enjoy a special offer of "Buy three, Get one free" on Corona Extra!

COURSE CONDITIONS

The weather change and increase in temperature in March has resulted in a large increase in soil temperatures during the month and an increase in growth of the Paspalum grass. This was ideal for our tee and approach renovations as the surfaces were able to recover in a timely manner. During the month we also solid-tined fairwaysto aid with water infiltration down to the roots of the plant and preventing surface run-off from the irrigation water. During April the agronomy team will focus on edging all native areas and cart path edges, leaf cleanup and adding more sand to high traffic bunkers. Our irrigation team has commenced adding "mister heads" (sprinklers) to our weakest bunkers.

The agronomy team would like to extend our thanks for your ongoing support and hope you enjoy your golfing in April.

HEALTH AND FITNESS

Get Fit for Golf

Balance and stability are essential for a good foundation in a golf swing. The Quadriceps, Calves and the Hamstring muscles need to be strengthened and stretched regularly. Squats using weights are a great way towards achieving this. Ensure that the back remains straight and squeeze in your stomach when doing this exercise.

If you have any questions related to golf fitness please send our Fitness Trainer, Kumbharaj, an email at [email protected] and he will be happy to answer.
